South Korean airports, meanwhile, have seen a fall in the number of people traveling to and from Japan.<br />According to the Korea Airports Corporation,... seven local airports saw a 34 percent decline in passengers on Japan flights in the last week of August compared to the first week of July.<br />There were only 100-thousand in the last week of August.<br />Flights were cut too by 19 percent.<br />The main reason was a boycott by Koreans to protest Japan's trade restrictions, which started in July.<br />
